From the Superintendent
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!!!
My name is Mandy Maiava and I am the newly-elected Superintendent of the Sunday School for the next three years.
I am a "born and bred" member of this parish and a large part of my life has been actively involved with the Sunday School Teachers (SST) group. During my time of "studenthood" to "teacherhood", I have gained a lot of knowledge and information from previous Superintendents and this has enabled me to step into the Superintendent role with confidence knowing that I have the support and encouragement from the current SST team.
This will be a challenging year for me as Superintendent. All eyes will be on me to direct and lead a group of multi-talented, very creative and challenging group of teachers. But, I know with your prayers, your guidance and your advice, these goals can be achieved.
I will be guided and supported by an exec team - Tracey Sa, Marilyn Fasitua and Tuanu'u Pisa Alaifea
We will be working closely together to ensure that the Sunday School programme for this year runs as smoothly as possible through
effective teamwork, promoting creativity and fun for our children.
During the year we will be sending through information of up and coming events and the Coconut Niusletter especially to keep our Church readers from far away, up to date.
More to come,
I ask that you pray for us as we prepare and continue to teach the word of God to the children.
Your servant in Christ
Mandy Maiava
