Reading: "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it." (Proverbs 22:6)
Teachers challenge: I will follow Christ
Sunday School Goal: Healthy Hearts - physically, Healthy Hearts - spiritually
"I will give you a new heart with new and right desires, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony heart of sin and give you a new, obedient heart. (Eze 36:26)

Superintendent's Word
Talofa lava, Kia Orana, Taloha ni, Kia Ora!
Greetings in the Precious Name of Our Victorious Risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

”Family of God Come Alive, Come Alive Family of God”

Praise the Lord for his unfailing love (Jos 24:15)
Talofa, Kia Orana and Greetings in the Precious Name of Our Risen Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Firstly our love and prayers go out to the Lal family for their loss.

Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, "they will remain upon it." (Proverbs 22:6) The Scripture Exam is so important, it's a time where children/students read and study the Bible, through memory verses, questions & answers, here at church and more importantly inside our homes. We teach the Word of God, we encourage and nurture the children and students faith in God. Thank you parents for your love and support in bringing your children to practices. We are pleased to have Rev Leslie Solomona from Seatoun Presbyterian Church as our examiner this year. All the best Sunday School with the exam - Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) Thank you Rev & Mrs Tofilau and our Family of God for your love, support but especially for your prayers for us as we prepare for the exam. Yours in Our Lord's service

Reflections on 2007 - 49TH Anniversary Service - November 2007
Manusarnoa Paris Fasitua shared the Word of God 'Water of Life" and inspired everyone to step up in roles of responsibility in the Church. Come forward and help, we always need more workers in the Church. On the last and most important day of the festival Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, "Whoever is thirsty should come to me, and whoever believes in me should drink. . . . "(John 7:37-39)

NZ Sunday School Union
It was with sadness we received news that the General Secretary of the Sunday School Union, Mr Ken Matthews passed away in November 2007. We worked very closely with him over the years. This was the main reason our results were late last year.

FAITHFUL TROPHY 2007 WINNERS KEVIN FAGALILO AND MARLENE AILAO. Reverend and Mrs Tofilau presenting the trophy. This year we have chosen 2 students who are both outstanding and we feel they equally deserve to win the trophy. First, this student has a positive attitude with a cheerful and bubbly nature. Teachers are amazed at her progress from last year. She has stepped up, grown and developed and is full of confidence. Always helpful in everything she does. She leads by example and she will go far. More >>

BONJOUR....BUONGIORNO...HOI....MERHABA.....ASA LAAM ALAYKUM.... At the end of October 2007, Roanna Uili and myself left Wellington, and ventured of to the other side of the world, to the unknown. We visited many spectacular places like London (Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, London Bridge, Westminster Abbey); Paris (Eiffel Tower, Arc de tromphe, The Louve Museum); Switzerland (reminded us of New Zealand), Nice (Where the Cannes film festival is held and the French Riviera flows), Monacco (where the formula 1 race is held and the home of Prince Albert, Princess Caroline & Princess Stephanie), Florence (the famous statue of David and where Michaelangelo is buried), Tuscany (many vineyards), Rome (the home of the Colosseum and Julius Caesar), the Vatican City (home of the Pope and the Sistine chapel) , the Greek islands, and Turkey. We met many lovely people, and also ate some yummy and INTERESTING food, like frogs legs (more like frogs bodies) and snails.
