  • FONO SAMOA (PIPC) 2007 MODERATOR. The Reverend Tauinaola Tofilau was installed as the Fono Samoa PIPC Moderator on Thursday, 12 April 2007. A significant event in the life and history of the Newtown parish. The three day Fono was hosted by the Matagaluega Ueligitone (PIC Porirua, St. Davids Petone and Newtown) here at PIPC Newtown from Thursday 12 April to Saturday 14 April 2007. Several hundred commissioners and delegates from north and south islands attended the conference.
This was another successful conference as was the 2004 Fono Aoao and we glorify God for the successes and achievements. It is true to say that we have shared, fellowshipped and witnessed Gods love in the progress made in our work in serving Him through the Fono Samoa, our Matagaluega and our parish here in Newtown, Wellington.

    What is Fono Samoa about?
